Project Overview
The Boulder Solar II Project is an approximately 62-megawatt (MW)-DC photovoltaic solar array located in Boulder City, Nevada. It features 144,000 mono-crystalline silicon SunPower E-Series solar panels each with a nameplate rating of 435 watts. The plant is providing energy to NV Energy under an agreed upon purchase power agreement (PPA). NV Energy signed a green tariff with AppleĀ® to sell the energy that it purchases from the project, offsetting Apple’s power demand as it expands into Northern Nevada. AEP Renewables owns and operates this solar array.
