Project Overview

The Desert Sky Wind project is an approximately 170-megawatt (MW) wind farm located near the town of Iraan in West Texas. Initially constructed in 2001, it features 107 wind turbines and underwent a full repowering in 2018. AEP Renewables owns and operates the wind farm.
